Faced with a need to replace an ageing retail system, and the expansion of its supermarket business, Julius Meinl turned to ICL for a Sandmar software system. As one of Europe’s largest construction companies, Julius Meinl has developed a chain of top quality supermarkets across Eastern Europe. Sandmar retail systems are implemented within Russia at four stores, a warehouse and a head office. Trading under the name of ‘Vienna House’, further stores are planned, making this one of the largest supermarket operations in Russia.
