Cash
Reconciliation
The C3Mi Reconciliation system processes receipts including Cash,
Cheques, Credit & Debit Card payments, coupons, vouchers, tokens
etc. and validates them against the Equipment Expected and User
Declared values.
Expected income:
- This represents the receipts generated at the Selling Point.
- EPoS systems can electronically feed the expected data directly
into C3Mi.
- Electronic Cash Registers takings will be represented by opening
and closing till readings.
- Gaming / Fruit Machines, Vending machines etc. provide meter readings.
These reading will define the cash expected.
- Agents records will provide details of cash collected.
Declared Income:
- The denomination values counted by the user and supported by
a paying in slip.
Banked Income:
- Denomination values counted and banked within the Cash Office.
Payments into the Cash Office may represent a Cash Lift, or a Final
Clearance from the selling point.
All discrepancies are reported and documentation generated for
management investigation.
C3Mi keeps a diary of expected clearances from Selling Points.
For instance a EPoS unit may have clearances twice a day, whereas
a Fruit Machine maybe cleared only on a Tuesday and Friday. C3Mi
warns if expected clearances have not occurred.
Upon completion of the C3Mi Reconciliation process the trading
day is closed and funds transferred to the Vault or direct to the
bank.
Reconciliation Data Entry:
Configuration settings will determine the scope of the counting
to take place.
For instance the system can be configured for the operator to enter
all coins in their lowest denomination or in groups e.g. all copper
coins.
Cheques, Card payment, Vouchers, Coupons etc. can be entered as
totals e.g. 10 Visa slips with value $110, or each slip can be individually
entered and reconciled.
Live Feed from EPoS Systems:
The Sandmar POSXpress3 and POSXpress3/ESTRA EPoS systems automatically
feed C3Mi with data regarding Cash Lifts, Z Total Clearance Expected
and Declared values. Alternative EPoS systems can also be integrated.
